Prep Time: 10 minCook Time: 10 minServings: 2

  • 14 oz beef steak, sliced into 2 200 g pieces
  • 14 oz fresh spinach, washed
  • 2 medium carrots, thinly sliced into rounds
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced thin
  • 1 medium onion, sliced into rings
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  1. Sauté the onion in 1 Tbsp of olive oil over medium heat until it turns a golden brown. Add the carrots and cook for 2–3 minutes.

  3. Simmer in with the spinach, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until the spinach wilts, then set aside.
  4. Season the steak slices with the remaining 1 Tbsp olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  5. Sear the steak in a hot skillet, flipping every 6 minutes (or to your preferred doneness) until cooked through.
  6. Plate the steak alongside the sautéed vegetables and serve hot.
