- 14 oz beef steak, sliced into 2 200 g pieces
- 14 oz fresh spinach, washed
- 2 medium carrots, thinly sliced into rounds
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced thin
- 1 medium onion, sliced into rings
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Sauté the onion in 1 Tbsp of olive oil over medium heat until it turns a golden brown. Add the carrots and cook for 2–3 minutes.
- Add the mushrooms and sauté for another 2–3 minutes.
- Simmer in with the spinach, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until the spinach wilts, then set aside.
- Season the steak slices with the remaining 1 Tbsp olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Sear the steak in a hot skillet, flipping every 6 minutes (or to your preferred doneness) until cooked through.
- Plate the steak alongside the sautéed vegetables and serve hot.
